When I applied to Quicken Loans to refinance my mortgage, I was initially very satisfied. I got the rate I was looking for, closing costs were exactly what I was quoted, the whole process. application to closing took only 2 1/2 weeks. My one concern was the selling of the note. I did not want to be bounced around every few months. My contact, Doug Laska, assured me that Quickens held the note and that I would be able to refinance at a later date or switch to a 15 year note if I so desired, at no additional cost.
