I have heard that the Feds do look at boards like this to watch for trends in complaints against the banks. I'm hoping this is true. We have a full-price offer on a short sale property that we submitted to Bank of America around February 2, 2011. The Seller called and notified Bank of America that this was a non-HAFA short sale. Wells Fargo

Somebody needs to get the Feds looking into this. We processed a Short Sale with Wells Fargo for 2 months with us making weekly calls in to them. Then they suddenly claimed that they had this file labeled as a Loan Modification and not a Short Sale that whole time and we had to start over at the beginning. I think they're lying. Weekly for 2 months asked about the SHORT SALE. So, either they are complete morons or they are lying. I can't believe they are that incompetent unless the incompetency is intentional.
