When we arrived at Kerry Airport (Eire) we were asked to hand over a credit card for ‘security’ reasons only. We received two pieces of paper one white A4 and one yellow NCR A5 stapled strategically over the details on the former. We rented a 30' Class C RV from ABC Motorhome and Car Rentals in early August 2010 for 2 nights/3 days. Beware of major repairs being rediculously expensive! My car needed new head gaskets. When their $3600 estimate (including water pump, timing belt and clutch) morphed into $6000, I paid to have it towed elsewhere. Local shop put in new engine, all above work, etc for only $2700. The service manager was polite, seemed reasonable, but their logic very flawed. They are also charing me for extra work I never requested, authorized, or even knew about until they sent the bill. The QuickLube lane is anything but quick. Ford Rewards owes me an oil change but the wait at the "QuickLube" has been anywhere from 2 to 5 hours on any day I've tried to redeem it for 11 months. Now Ford tells me the reward points will expire by Tuesday if I don't use them. This company did a buy here pay here/in house financing. I recently retired and needed a few months until my retirement funds came through. I put $4000 down and a $1000 in a repair immediately. I had 4 payments due then a balloon. The contract had a due date with a 10 day grace period. This outfit promises to fix the car, guarantee the job for life and to pay for the rental. They've had my car since 2/18/11 for a 10 day job and today, 3/25/11 the car is not ready. They'll promise it on Friday, and then the next Friday and so on. Since buying car it has been back on numerous occasions, last time it was due to the drive shaft seizing in the hub which also broke the clutch plate (which I was asked to pay for?) all the work was completed and the warranty company paid the majority I was told to pay for the new nut seal, clip and sensor, I have had the vehicle back for 2 months and now the clutch is slipping badly and at times it will not drive.
