I signed up for a free trial of acri berry with only paying the shipping fee. All of a sudden I got a $116. charge on my credit card. I called acri berry and the immediately cancelled my subscription (which I didn't sign up for) but said that it wasn't them who charged me...Then I got a charge of $10 and when I clicked on the name which appeared on my credit card it brought me to pricelimbo.com. A year ago I signed up with Global to sell my timeshare and sent them some money. A few months later they called me and said they could also rent my weeks, so i sent them more money so they would do this. And then in July they called and said my timeshare was sold and that all I needed to do was send them more money for closing costs. I sent rent.com $850 as a deposit on an apartment in Fenway. They told me once payment was received I would be able to look at the apartment and then the contract would be sent and I could finalize the details. After sending the $850 they told me I needed to send the next 5 months rent upfront or the contract was void! I have applyied for a loan modification with US Foreclosure Relief since June of 2008. I have just looked at my checking account statement. I have found 2 charges on my account for identity fraud protection. One charge in the amount of $9.95 One chage in the amount of $4.95 I have contacted my bank and they say the only way to take care of this situation is to turn off my debit card. I am being harassed at work by United Collections. The person calls me several times in a period of 15 minutes and each time I have told him not to call me at work. He has even contacted my supervisor telling him what he is calling about.
