I went to Chilis in North Brunswick, NJ tonight for the first time and I was served my drinks with bugs, not once but TWICE. The manager came over to our table and apologized. Then for some reason he (Mat) explained why or how there might have been drinks in our bugs...as if that was relevant to us as the customer. After that whole weird apology and explanation, he didn't even discount our bill...very unprofessional. It makes me wonder how people like that obtain a manager position. For the second year in a row I bought Norton Internet Security and sent in the two rebates, both for $30. I received one rebate with no problem but as the year before received a post card stating that I had not sent all the information and was late in submitting. Knowing I meticulously followed detail in submitting the rebate, I wrote and asked them to send a copy of my envelope with mailing date and its contents. Of course I never heard from them again and feel that two times is a sure indication that (1) we are being scammed and (2) not to use them again. I never completed the order form and called my card company immediately and cancelled payment which had been posted apparently fraudulently and instantly. The commercial for this item on the menu is very offensive to women. As a female i feel as though it is not fair to say that by eating this burger it will make you more of a man. I get the impression that it is saying that only a man could possibly eat this burger.Well I can challenge that theory, I can eat the whole burger plus a medium drink and fries. Immediately my debit card was charged for the order and I was sent two separate email stating that the order would be sent in 10-14 days. I figured I would write a more legitimate complaint than my last one about Blockbuster not having an adult video section in any of their stores. We had 9 people crammed into a table for 8 even though I had called 3 times to confirm that my table would be big enough. When we changed tables, the waiter gave me "a present for you"— a bottle of house wine which appeared on my bill! When I contacted them via letter, I did get a call from the manager who gave me no satisfaction, and no apology and refused my request of a refund for the price of the wine. I thought that maybe with the takeover of Adelphia's system by Time Warner, that they would take care of the maintenance that was badly needed on the system. On Aug 27, 2006, I placed an order for a one year subscription to Runner Times, It is now Jan 13, 2007. I have tried calling the company several times to no avail. Every call is picked up by an answering machine where I am asked to state my name, phone number and order number, so someone from customer service can look into the problem and return my call. In October I ordered cable service including the road runner internet and e-mail service. The technicians never showed up when they were supposed to. When they finally did show up they did not have the right cable and I wasted a whole day that I took off from work. I paid for and downloaded I Am Big Brother Software. When I set up the Remote Access feature, it cost me $49.99 for the year. My credit card was charged for this, and I have yet to receive the promised Serial Number that would allow me to set this feature up.
