I had enrolled for emigration services in 2005 and in the initial stage backed off for not doing emigration for canada. The company took a signing contract amount of Rs 25,000 after which i told them repeatedly not to continue emigration but they have not heeded to my complaints and say it is non refundable as per contract. Dear Friends, I had registered my cell no in almost all the banks and insurance companies of India, in their "Do not call" service. I had done it atleast twice in last 2-3 months. We have been receiving numerous unsolicited phone calls (3-5 calls per day) from the NRA. I was a former member of the NRA however I choose not to renew my membership. I applied for a passport in mid-February, today is May 7th, and I still haven't received it. I tried calling the 1877 number on the website (practically the only way to get ahold of someone) 2 weeks before my vacation (as instructed), and after 3 days of 2 hours waiting on the phone, I still can't get ahold of anyone. I have been getting at least 15 calls per day from phone number (954) 724-9490 , and they were hanging up on the first ring. When I call the number back, I get the same thing "mail box is full"! They did just call again (for the 3rd time in less than an hour) and I did finally get some one, it is publishing clearing house!
