Beware when you rent a car from Europcar from New Zealand. I rented a car from Queenstown from 05-16-09 to 05-21-09, and I got ripped off. I payed using my mastercard before we took the car out of the lot. I agreed to pay the amount in full. Everything went well but a month later there was a charge of 56.25 from Europcar. Our iPod Touch which we bought through Harvey Norman Wanganui had a fault so we returned it to them for a second time and they in turn sent it away to be repaired under warranty. This was three weeks ago. For the past two weeks we have been calling harvey Norman periodically to get an update on whether the iPod could be repaired or replaced. My partner and I bought a puppy of Trevor Hindle and his wife Tracey Hindle (nee Mitchem). She has had to be put down at the age of 2 due to major health issues. It has devastated us. She was our life. We did all we could for her but she was in so much pain that we had to let her go. The worst ever customer service I have ever received from a reputed car rental company called Europcar. I made the bookings online which entitled me to a discount of 10% as compared to bookings made over the phone, just to end up at the car pickup point to know that I am not eligible for that discount as they are not aware of any discounts which I was supposed to get! - Worst communication in the organization. I purchased the Choice Africa Nz phone card in Auckland New Zealand with the understanding that calling rate to Nbi (Kenya) was about $.095 a minute. This individual contacts you from New Zealand to purchase your vehicle then uses false claims to recoup so called 'losses' incured from the seller and shipping company(s) during purchase. Three years ago I used cyber defender. They charged my credit card which was fine. I signed a 12 months contract for gym memebership. After 12 months I expected to relapse and the direct debits to stop. The contract was meant to finish on the 16 of February, but to my surprize Configure Express still charged me. When I called them they indicated a clause on the back of the contract which says I have to contact them in order to cease the contract and give them 30 days notice. Enrolled with Ashworth university/college. Air conditioning course. I submitted the required details for the cashback offer and received back from them two emails detailing that my two cashbacks would be paid on 29-Jan-2009 and 24-Feb-2009. It is now 12-Feb-2009 and I still have not received my first cashback.
