If I could give half a star I would and I haven't even taken the flight yet. I booked a return flight to Auckland from Sydney for my wife and myself, a family reunion. Due to some mis-communication I had to change the dates of departure and return. I expected a change fee but was gobsmacked to be hit with a bill for $400. Tried to purchase a book on Forensics from these people in July 2007. Credit card charged and no product ever sent. No reply to frequent communications. Others who have suffered are urged to contact e-crimes unit of Australian Police or the IC3 group in the USA In Australia you can contact Dept of Fair Trading as they claim on website amongst other things that the customer won't be charged until the order is shipped and they can be prosecuted under Asutralian law if this claim is shown to be misleading. I order a cd through our local music dealer to Amazon.com on OCtober the 15th and now its November the 28th and no disc just emails from Amazon.com saying it will be due some day and of corse it never comes. Everything else ordered from there after my order was placed took two weeks to arrive so why hasnt a simple Cd they said was in stock come?. I have had a gutsfull of their excuses and I cant do anything unless they give the music shop their money back. In future I will warn people not go near Amazon as they are unreliable and seem to belive that the customers are a pack of gulible twits. I have played Freelotto and I have been declared that I have won prizes of US$1,000,000; and another prize of US$50,000 and another US$300. I used to receive several e-mail requesting me to confirm my name and they have published the check also in the amount and stating my name as well. I bought two pairs of trousers from Newport, and had them shortened. The first pair had a run like pantyhose in the fabric after 1 wear. The second pair were shortened by at least two inches too much. When I took them back, the shop assistant refused to help, and we had to make four phone calls before the manager contacted us back. They are contracted by overseas moving companies and once they have your goods always add extra exorbitant charges . If you refuse to pay, they hold your goods ransom charging per day storage until you pay. I contracted Elliott's international ( SA based company )to move my household goods from SA to New Zealand and paid door to door.
