Why is this happening? I signed a contract with Storesonline to pay monthly payments by VISA, using my bank in Canada. This company then had Duvera Financial do the monthly billings, which cannot be processed because the bank does not receive the request for payment. Hi, I am going through something similar. I went to rent a video game yesterday at Rogers Plus that I always go to in Victoria BC. I was surprised to find out that I couldn't rent any games or video due to an "unreturned" video game ( Call of Duty 5 ) back in June 2009 and since then it actually has gone to collections. I was surprised because I know I returned it and also that I wasn't notified by Rogers at any point that I had not returned this game. I am going today after work to deal with this. We bought a Sears Craftsman Dual Stage Snowblower from sears in Nov. 29/03 we paid 1799.99 + tax totalling 2069.99 (400.00 per year). We've been trying to get a part for it since Nov 2009 ...backordered... today we received a call (Jan 25, 2010) that the part is no longer manufactured by the company and the life expectancy of a snowblower is 5 years and therefore the snowblower is rendered useless . This phone number is a phone number to call and claim a prize for 125000.00. I was stold that I had one a sweepstake. At first iI believed it, then I went alittle further and started to investegate further. What I found out is that this a total scam. Why does banks in Canada require a credit check to open a basic bank account. My situation is maintenance enforcement is taking 40% of my gross pay and revenue canada is taken the rest so i could be starving to death. When I booked my ticket, I paid an extra $40C for the elite plus service on a champagne getaway, which allows for emergency row seating and an extra 5kg of checked baggage (30kg). I bought a 5$ card, called US for 20 minutes, a couple of days later the balance on the card was 20 cents, called customer service, turned out that they charge you 59 cents a day regardless if you're using the card or not. What an awful stay i had at the Vic Inn. I will never go there again. I had stayed at Vic inn for number of months for one weekend On buisness trip. I first purchased a "Make Money from Home" kit EZKITS off of a website for $2.11. The idea is that you won't cancel your free two day trial after the two days. You're then charged for these access fees and whatever it is every month. I guess it's in the fine print.
