I purchased a refrigerator at an appliance store and purchased the extended warranty from The Walker Group. Here I am a year and a half later with a broken fridge. A Charge of 49.95 appeared on my credit card on 18 October 2008. As it happens I have PC Tools on my computer from about a year ago so I assumed that it was the renewal charge. However adjacent to it were some obvious scam charges that my wife had let herself in for and two of those had the DR!* ahead of the company name, so I logged on to the Internet and found that below glowing reports on PCTOOLS was a scam warning relating to DRI*PCTOOLS. November 7, 2008 Professional Engineer gets stumped by microwave oven by LG. 2 year old microwave oven by LG goes dead in the water. One week to get LG to send a serviceman. $128 flat fee paid for the call. I recieved a letter in the mail today containing a check in the amount of $4890 to be paid directly to me. Supposedly I was one of 20 winners splitting a $5 million dollar lottery pot from Shoppers Sweepstakes that washeld on Sept. 5, 2008. Nine years ago, I used Sears to redo my roof. They dropped a large pack of shingles on a small patio on the second floor and cracked the granite. Sears replaced the granite but washed the new granite with acid which leaked into our copper gutters. Our gutters are ruined ONLY around the patio and a professional roofer assessed that the damage has come from the acid which Sears used to wash the installed granite. I had worked at the Good Life Fitness gym in South Calgary for almost a full year when i was suddenly "Let go" because head office had "over-looked", 11mos earlier, that i had a (very minor) criminal record. My elderly mother and father recently purchased a Basic Black Dishwasher from KMART under the Kenmore Brand. It was not cleaning their dishes even when they rinsed the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. this company is a fraud. They tell you to send them money for a loan that you qualify for if you have bad credit and if you have no cosigner then you have to pay a secuity deposit for the loan. Once you pay the deposit then they are going to tell you the loan as default and that it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get your refund back and you can't call the refund department because they don't take incomming calls so really you won't get a refund back for them read full review »

My friend, Victor Robinson, was to have his prescription for pain medication (Oxycontin) delivered to his door. He has ankylosing spondylitis, and can't get out much. The delivery person delivered it to the wrong address, and no one is accepting responsibilty for this mistake. They didn't give him his meds, they actually gave them to someone else!
