I hired Hoekstra to fix the sign of my business in April this year. The name of my business is The Beaty Supply Outlet. Cityfone sent me a phone. I thought because it was Sears, it was reliable. I read their rules. I did not want the phone and phoned Cityfone and cancelled their service. I sent the phone back the same day. Now they are trying to charge me $4.86 to my Sears account. I phoned Cityfone, today (talked to Danielle). I phoned Sears who transferred me to their Finance office (Carol at J.P. Chase). This company has NO support for hosting services. My site has been down for 3 weeks and I've logged several trouble tickets with zero response. Last year I canceled my phone plan with Telus t sign up for a 3 year contract with Bell. So far, I have had nothing but trouble with my phone. I cancelled a contract within the 10 day cancellation period allowed by the consumer protection act and the company failed to fully refund my deposit. The company failed to respond to an inquiry into this matter from the Better Business Bureau. The matter was eventually settled in small claims court.
