Lison Malette brought a 94 plymouth acclaim in Beverly Tire to get the a/c fixed . A oil change was 28.95 before taxes, and Labour a/c evaluation was 59.95 before taxes. That was no problem.After the evaluation Scott told lison it would cost him 699.00 before taxes to fix the problem. Lison went and got another estimate at Hamilton Radiator. Salesboom.com inappropriately charged me $681 for an annual renewal fee on their software product, even though I cancelled this service in 2007. The charge came through on my credit card as coming from DRI reg.net MN. I contacted their customer service department at 1-800-999-2734, and learned that they're a 3rd-party billing company for Salesboom.com (and other software companies). I bought a Shark Euro Pro vacuum at Canadian Tire for 300 dollars. I have only had it for one year and have had many issues with it and called the store to see what to do. I wish I had read the online complaints before I called Sears service to repair my Kenmore dishwasher. I would not have called them at all and never will again. We recently purchased A dualit Vario Chrome 2-Slice toaster, MODEL # 20293 for $289.99 from a department store. Not even two weeks later, the unit caught on fire and melted the only plastic portions of the toaster. As it was not left unattended at any time, this appeared most frightening and unsafe. I am having to return the same DVD Player for a second time in less than a year of purchase. I have also had to exchange the home theater I purchased the same day. My son bought a car from Faraz auto sales and traded in his Mazda 6 .The dealership put on new plates (without asking if he wanted new plates), so when he arrived the new car had new plates. the dealership did not take off the old plates from the mazda.We discovered this because we received a bill from the 407 for 81 dollars yesterday. Do not beleve the website pictures. This is not an Inn in the hotel sense but a tired grubby old motel. We paid $217.80 for 2 nights bed ad breakfast. This was not worth it, other hotels close had cheaper prices and crutialy were much better stadards. The Asian (india) owners / managers advertise 2 stars, which is unbelivable, and advertise on the web as free breakfast, which they do not deliver. I bought a cam of Beauty Tone spray paint ath this store yesterday (July 16). A can of spray paint is supposed to cover 25sq feet. This one only covered about 6sq feet and the paint was over! I went back to the store, explained what happened and the store manager said that it was not possible for the can to have been used before, laughed at me in front of other customers, as if I was lying. Purchased this rather expensive bed & mattress set in 1999. (Total purchase was $ 3, 831.94) Had the sleighbed for not even a month and had to return the "Foot board" due to a manufacturing error in the workmanship of the wood. The Internet connection plan that the company advertises comes with the laptop (provided that the customer signs the 3 year plan). The laptop that they advertise is Dell Inspiron 1525. They advertise it as valued at $689 CAD. However upon checking the Dell.ca website one will find that the Laptop is actually valued at $499 CAD. The food in this restaurant was adequate (not great) however there was one visible staff member to look after the entire restaurant!! Yes, that is for drinks and the meal service!! The price was over the top $123.03 for the smallest steaks on the menu, a salad, a glass Sprite and a juice. But what galled me was the waitress adding 18% to the actual bill for her service!! I received a check to pay taxes on a lottery that I supposedly won. Of course, they did not want to send me the 50K check because of possible identification fraud.
