I bought an item valued at $19.99 on e-bay and paid for UPS shipping. I had no choice as I wouldn't have picked UPS. They are the worst!! Anyway when the driver arrived he asked for a COD of $21.14 for brokerage and taxes. This is more than the item was worth. I was advised by the driver to call and complain. That got me no where. The girl didn't give a dam and said too bad you should have checked the web site first. Not only that the box was ripped open and beat all to hell and looked like it had been run over by the UPS truck that brought it. They are a bunch of rip off artists and don't care. read full review »

Woods Industries - Canada
June 20, 2007
I purchased a surge protector for my TV sets years ago, believing that their product has a lifetime warranty up to $10,000 - $25,000. Last week, due to the storm, my TV blew out & the surge protector even gave a burnt mark on the floor. I called the company on how to claim the warranty & they told me to sent the product for inspection. So, I sent it together with some pictures of my burnt floor & the TV sets. After a few days, they called me asking for the original receipt in order for the claim of the warranty. I explained that it... read full review »

Dell Notebook
June 20, 2007
It feels like since the moment I made that ill-fated decision to purchase a Dell inspiron 6000 I have run into nothing but frustration and anger over my decision. Upon first placing the order for a system... wait for it not once, not twice but at least 3 times I was finally able to speak to a rep to correct the "mistake" and actually get the system. Granted the system worked for the first year and a half the problems began not long after... good thing I got that extra Complete Care Warranty right!?!?! Hardly... after... read full review »

Whirlpool Dishwasher
June 19, 2007
I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher, model GU2700XTSQ from RC Willey a couple months ago. I complained to Whirlpool that my dishes never would dry. The door, walls and ceiling of the dishwasher after the cycle is complete always have large water droplets that remain unless I leave the door open for 12+ hours afterwards. They sent me an email with a list of all the things I should be doing ( same info as in the owners manual). We have tried and done everything. They said if this didn't solve the problem to call a Whirlpool repairman. That... read full review »

Nissan Canada - 2005 Nissan Exterra
June 18, 2007
I recently leased a 2005 Nissan Exterra in 2005 and have had nothing but problems with the vehicle and the previous service center I took it to. I leased the vehicle instead of buying it for my business with great intentions of buying it out because in the end total I will pay after 4 years will be 45,000 or so. I would not return it after my lease after shelling out that money. My problem now is that the first two weeks I got it my stereo was shorting out after an hour or so on a highway trip so they replaced it but still no change. They told... read full review »

United Furniture Warehouse
June 18, 2007
I promised myself to post on all possible websites this experience of mine. I went to United Furniture Warehouse back in July of last year (2005) to look for some furnitures. I was about to move to an apartment the following month. I ordered a couple of items, bed and bed frame, dining table, sofa set, computer table, entertainment center, chair and mirror. I asked them if they could deliver the items first week of August as I need even just the bed that week. The Sales Person promised me that they can deliver it on time as the... read full review »

Kitchen Aid Crock Pot
June 13, 2007
This was purchased as a Christmas present 2006 and the inner pot or crock cracked in February - about 6 weeks later. We returned it to the manufacturer (Kitchen Aid) and to date have not received a replacement. We have been told it will take until at least July. This was a $170 crockpot. Kitchen Aid have received their money and I am sitting here without a crockpot and without the $170 spent. Where is the justice? KITCHEN AID IS NOT A RESPONSIBLE SUPPLIER. read full review »

HP Notebook
June 11, 2007
My name is John. My wife and I have a problem with a HP notebook we purchased. We were sent a laptop that has a defective battery. It won’t charge. The problem was diagnosed by an HP technician and a new battery is all it needs. We have been trying, unsuccessfully for about a week and a half to have HP send us a new battery. This being a brand new computer, we thought it would be a simple, “ship us a new battery” situation. Well after talking with HP India, HP Canada, HP Palo Alto, CA. IT’S NOT THAT EASY. Expedia.ca
June 11, 2007
I have recently booked a vacation with Expedia.ca to Disney world, figuring that I got a good deal and how hard could it be? Boy was I WRONG!! There have been nothing but miscommunication, delayed responses and worst of all very RUDE customer service people. I have been treated and spoken to by a "customer service person" like I did not have any comprehension of the English language and helping me was a waste of her time. I have lodged an e-mail complaint and have spoken to a Manager, only to hear nothing... Not even a SORRY. I... read full review »

I am truly disgusted with the service I have received from this "upscale" furniture shop. I ordered an ottoman and a leaning ladder bookshelf on 28DEC, they said it would take 4-6 weeks for the ottaman to arrive and it is now over 6 months later and I still have not received it. To top it off i have received the worst customer service I have ever received from many staff there, but in particular from 3 of the Store Managers and the "Customer Service Rep". I have left messages at the store with no response, sent email... read full review »

Kenmore Elite Washing Machine
June 9, 2007
Our $800 Kenmore Elite washing machine died after 13 months. Since it had a 12 month warranty the Sears people didn't take any responsibility - even though we had called them 3 months earlier to report the problem (the agitator came loose from the machine and would come out when the clothes were removed). They told us the repair would be $550, plus it cost $55 to have their service guy come out and say "yup, it's all screwed up". When the agitator came apart during a wash / spin, it spewed a dozen parts, and punched hole... read full review »

By phone I ordered a vertical blind from Sears Canada, delivery of which would be 2 days hence. Within 15 minutes I realized having ordered the wrong size and immediately called back to cancel the first and order the proper size. The operator advised she could not cancel as it had not yet gone to shipping and I should call the next day. For whatever reason I forgot to call and the 2 blinds showed up on the expected date whereupon I refused the first. When I received my statement it showed the original order and the return was credited to... read full review »

June 1, 2007
I’ve recently filed a complaint against 3Web/CIA with the Better Business Bureau. Despite the fact that I closed my long distance and internet accounts with them over a year and a half ago, they’re still taking unauthorized debits from my bank account. They’ve completely denied any wrongdoing, and have gotten contradictory responses from their customer service people. Jackie's Alterations and Bridal
May 31, 2007
My wedding gown needed to be shortened and let out, and my mom sews well but has arthritis in her hands, so we took it to Jackie's Alterations in Chatham. We did everything they said, brought it in exactly when they said, pre-paid, waited the four weeks they said it would take, called ahead to make sure it was ready, and went in last Saturday to make sure it was right, and nothing had been started. WHY I WILL NEVER BUY A MAZDA AGAIN...!! Under 200,000 km... closer to 170,000 and now I will be lucky if a wrecker offers me 500 for my Mazda. I just had my Mazda MPV serviced about 3-4 weeks ago... told the service manager at my dealership (not Mazda) to make sure everything was tip-top as I was going to be out of town and on the highway a lot!! So I didn't want anything to happen... didn't want to end up standing at the side of the highway with a broken-down vehicle. We have always had the vehicle serviced... read full review »

This is the worst makeup school in Canada. Anyone needing to go to school for makeup and esthetics should stay away from BlancheMacDonald. My friend joined and they ripped her off. Masons Furniture
May 29, 2007
Bought at Masons furniture store in cloverdale surrey BC a month or so ago... We complained to the store about a mark on the top of the chair the leather seems to have been damaged, the piping which should go over the frame is offset, which we think has caused the damage to the edge of the chair... The store informs us that if a technician comes out it will cost us $65.00, otherwise my husband should bring it in to the store, he has asthma so that is impossible for us to do... We have a sectional on order which should arrive this month we are now dubious about accepting it if lazy boy does not stand behind there product. read full review »
