I am really surprised how Airtel has been surviving for so long. Despite payment of all the bills on time my telephone was disconnected due to non payment of bill. Never ever think of buying a Kent RO System. The company has a totally non existent after sales service support. I bought two, YES TWO, Kent RO Systems in May 2005 on the promise of two years, i.e. till May 2007, hassle free maintenance free with all parts covered. The laptop Compaq evo n620c that I bought in April 2004 developed some problem. When I purchased this product I bought a on-site service for 3 years. I complained to the 1800 number and the complaint no. is 2210504148. Even after several weeks of this complaint they did not come to take the laptop. Finally they took the laptop on 13th Nov, 2006. They promised to return it on 15th Nov, 2006 as I needed it for a lecture. But they have not yet returned it at 6.00pm on 20th Nov, 2006. This is the 'on-site' service they are providing. I have just bought a new prepaid Airtel chip (No. 99031-7607X). I wanted to know the GPRS settings. First of all navigating through the IVR of Airtel is painful because you have to wait till the voice stops parroting. Then, if by chance you enter a number (option) twice, you get disconnected. I will advice to Indian country people. Please do not take any mobile connections from RIM, because they are cheating with the customer like if you have post paid connections and if you are not going for itemize bill then your monthly bill goes too high as soon as you go for itemize bill your monthly bill amount will come down. On 9/2/06, I bought a Panasonic Lumix digital camera from Circuit City. 23 days later it was buzzing loudly and would not focus correctly. I took it to Circuit City that day, but they refused to even consider helping as it was after the 14 day cut-off. I called Panasonic, they said I would have to have it repaired under warranty. Electronics Dahisar East Mumbai has delivered us incomplete consignment of the grill type microwave oven;19 litre capacity( model 369)even after making him full payment; in the last week of Oct.2006.There was no glass plate on the turn tableafter opening the sealed package.
