On 1/17/2011, while on my first cruise, I purchased a diamond eternity band from Magnum Jewelers in Grand Cayman. Upon returning home I had the ring immediately inspected by an extremely reputable jeweler. Imagine my shock to find out I was sold a ring with numerous defects. 2 broken diamonds, many loose stones/prongs, and a long list of other issues. If you ever considered moving to the Cayman Islands - DON'T. Everything is massively inflated in price, there are no regulations, the Police, the Goverment and most businesses are inept. You will be seen as ex-pat making lots of money which the locals hate and you will be taken advnatage of at every turn. If you need a part for your vehicle for example, the markup is usually 500%. I purchased a set of diamonds studs on 1/20/07 from DI's Cozumel, Mexico store at Avenida Rafael E. Melgar #131. The purchase price was $1,500.00 USD. When I got home I decided that I would like to upgrade the quality of my diamonds.
