I have been scammed out of $1300 by Global Timeshare. I received a call back in Sep 2008 from a Cynthia Stirling stating she could sell my time share and she had a buyer waiting. We bought online under an advertised aura of "heavy duty top quality tarps". After receiving our three tarps, we discovered one had a hole, and all were flimsy and not waterproof. We called to request a refund, we discovered that their tarps are not waterproof, and that the packages are not returnable after they have been opened. This company is worst company on the planet. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE MONEY. They have this ploy where they tell you to "sign a contingency contract" and that they will go get your money for you. You sign a contract NOT for a dollar amount, but for what they call "RCV". This company is charging us a $600 cancellation fee for a contract that we did not agree to. There are two places to sign on the contract one that states that we understand the terms, and another place to agree to the proposal (thus turning it into a contract). We signed to show that we understood the terms of the proposal, but we did not sign in the place that makes the proposal an actual contract. Prudential Life Insurance is holding HOSTAGE proceeds from 2 life insurance policies my father paid on 50 years before he died in June 2008. They say the beneficiaries are in dispute but keep delaying the one action that can settle this dispute - filing an Interpleader Action. My 7yr old son and I made reservations for Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 at the Budget Host roughly around 10 pm on 7/25, and although we had confirmed both nights of our stay, he appologized that in error didn't infact have a room for the second night, leaving us in a terrible position as it was a weekend in a heavy tourist area. This company got my college aged son's credit card number and began sending him several magazines which are of no interest to him - he did not select them - and charged him 60 some dollars a month. He contacted his bank, cancelled the card and the bank agreed that this was fraudulent and they reversed the charges. Meanwhile, the magazines and the invoices kept coming. This mortgage broker originates loans in several states. Their telemarketers solicit customers by telephone and ask for their date of birth to confirm they are speaking to the correct person. They moved us from Dallas to Alpine, promising all sorts of services - but delivered on none of the promises. They destroyed an expensive Sony 60" television set and are refusing to replace it. (Which hasn't worked so far - I've called twice.) The Insiders Betting digest has no phone number, no mailing address, and their website has no contact information. Their postal permit is Waseca.
