Access-4-Free makes it difficult to cancel service, charges after cancellation, refuses refund, and requires proof via an email - which you must send within their website, so you do not have a copy anywhere on your own computer - that you ever requested cancellation to begin with.

No matter what facts you present, their answer remains "send us a copy of your cancellation email", which is impossible to do with their procedures, and I believe they not only know this but use it to fatten their bank account while draining yours. They would not even check their customer usage logs to see that I had not used the service for that entire period of time. Yet more insistance on a copy of an email which was only available on their system. I was billed and auto-paid from my checking account (yes, my own error in judgment). Each month, a monthly receipt was emailed after payment was processed. I cancelled in October - I received no receipt for October, so thought nothing more of it.

That is, until November - when I received a receipt for October AND November on my former bank account, which was being left idle for outstanding checks to clear with no "slush". Next day, in the mail, I also received overdraft notice and charge for this auto-payment from my old bank. Steer clear of this company, or be prepared to pay for at least a couple of months worth of service you don't use.
