Bad service
I’m the manager of a 20 unit condo. In Miami. The condo now owns 2 coin operated dryer and 2 washers, one of our dryer have been down for over 3 weeks now and we are trying to get service from Whirlpool with no luck, the dryer is under warranty.

The first service request was made and I received a call from the tech. from A & E saying if I do not have my receipt, he cannot do the service.

I requested another call for service with my receipt. On 6-3-06 I received a call at 9:16am from a tech at A&E asking me what the problem is and told me that he will be at the property in 45 min. I left my home to the property and received another call at 9:53 am from the tech saying he was at the property, I told him where the laundry room was and informed him I was on my way to meet him. I received another call at 10:04 am saying that the dryer was working fine and it was an issue with the power outlet, I told the tech I’m one minute from the property if he could wait for me because I could not understand what he was saying since he spoke little English, he refused to wait and told me he had other calls and that I was late to meet him, I tried to explain to him that we had the outlet checked out and it works fine and I need him to show me what was wrong he still refused to wait and got nasty and hung up the phone on me.

When I arrive at the property, the plug was sitting on the dryer as I left it with the out of service notice and the power was off to both machine because it was plugged in by the tech. I called A & E and was put on hold for 15 minutes, I called back and explained my problem but got no solution from A & E.

Now I’ll explain what our problem is:

We have dryer #1 & Dryer # 2 along with outlet #1 for dryer # 1 & outlet #2 for dryer # 2.

Dryer # 1 works fine, but dryer # 2 trips the breaker when it’s plugged into outlet # 2. If I plug dryer # 1 into outlet #2, it works fine, if I plug dryer # 2 into outlet # 1 it trips that breaker also. It’s a simple test to figure out that something on dryer # 2 is causing this.

I would like to register a complain against that tech. and the service co. A & E. after 2 request I’m back to the beginning where I have to request another call again.
