I booked a flight to Amsterdam for my boyfriend to visit his son as a surprise . He travels over and back on a regular basis as he visits his son every 6 to 8 weeks. I had to cancel this flight for personal unforeseen circumstances. I was very annoyed to find that I only get €34 of my €94 I was charged... even though I rang to cancel within 24hrs.. Aerlingus have yet again changed their policy in their favor with a €20 each way cancellation fee. I think these charges shouldn't be allowed. I understand they need to have a cancellation policy but i think if you cancel within 24hrs you should get a full refund no questions asked. I will look for another airline to book with and we travel 10-20 times a year between us! Bad call Aerlingus!!! Do you not value your customers at all?
