Anyone know the phone number of a vice president at AHSMI? A few years ago, I had trouble getting my loan modification to go through. I finally went online and found a number to a vice president's office. I called, left a message and the very next day, her assistant called me and I had the modification papers in my hand within two weeks. Currently I have a friend who has been trying unsuccessfully to get a loan modification for NINE months. Calling home retention doesn't help, all they want to know is where is the money? Every single week she receives a call telling her the papers she has submitted numerous times are now outdated and has to be resubmitted. This whole situation is bordering on the ridiculous. You would think they would want to save houses for people and get their payments instead of foreclosing and being stuck with all of these empty houses. Is there some kind of federal incentive for this company? I wonder why their business practices are so terrible and why someone does intervene for the people.
