Breach of trust
BEWARE, if you delay in making payments for your Landline connection, the collection agents of the company may pick up details of your landline number e.g they might pick up details of the number which has max outgoing/incoming calls on your landline and inquire about you as if they are the policemen's.
If that is not enough, don' dare to complain against these guys as nothing will happen. Noone will take care of your request/pleas... For me, its a breach of confidentiality as they can't divulge the details to any third person...
Wake up guys in customer care, thats your duty to stop such things and you are paid to provide satisfaction to your customers and not these goons...

Apathy of customer care in reference to lost Sim Card
I had lost AIRTEL sim card on 16th of Sep 2008, late night. I spoke to the consumer center to block my card so that it is not used for any illegal activities. But they asked me to visit an Airtel relationship center and didn't provide me their head quarter's number. They said they don't have it. I insisted, but they still didn't! How is it possible that the customer care doesn't have this number! I updated them regarding the current terrorist situation in Mumbai, and requested them to block the card for a few hours so that I could find nearest relationship center and go forward with it. They even didn't oblige on this. Instead, the customer call center representative, one ARSHAD, was very rude and plain. Considering their apathy towards their customers I am hoping that I am able to find a relationship center (and they don't take time to block it) before the card is used for some illegal activities. Nor do they have a separate web page to register our complains.

Didn't block the no more than 5 days on lost of the cell phone
My cell phone has lost recently and I asked customer care to block my number. This is very much frustrating that instead of continuously following up and making at least 10 calls per day to customer care, they haven't blocked it since last 4 days. I am very much worried about any misuse of this but the airtel guys are really irresponsible, very time they asked that server is down. I don't know if continuously till 3-5 days server is down than what service is Airtel is providing to its customer. This time I am really done a mistake to choose airtel.

Terrible experience
I have a validity up to 15/11/2009, and I was having balance on my account. On 13 Sept 2008 Airtel has charged 30 Rs. without informing and the balance became -26.00 Rs.. How it saying the services are temporarily discontinued.
This is ridiculous. I think I need to change the service provider.

Non availability of service in USA
I am visiting my brother here in US for an extended period of time and I puchased world wide roaming for the above two Cell phones (9810012847 and 9818404447) in NOIDA, India. However both these phones don't work, the screen says " service not available " Please check and restore the service as soon as possible.

Unauthorised mobile charges
I have been charged Rs 30/- by Airtel for vas pack offer even though i have never subscribed to it.I made several calls to customer care, but they are pointing out my fault. I even asked one customer care girl to give me a number so that i can unsubscribe the offer, but she was avoiding me by telling that there are many packs & we don't know to which pack you have subscribed.

Not to furnish any details to anyone
I am Sub-Inspector of Police and Iam regular customer of your esteemed limited and I am receiving a lot of unwanted and threatening calls from various persons including public and my colleagues (Police) which will create nuisance and mental agnoy. Becoz of this I am not able to do my official routine peacefully. It is requested to not to furnish any details (bill details) to anybody including Police if approached without my knowledge.
Kinldy inform all the concerned in this regard and early action in this matter is hightly appreciated.

customer care
I am a pre paid user of airtel. My no. is 9970352203. I got a call from airtel stating that is i recharge with Rs. 110 i will get 1 year validity and Rs 98 talktime, but i have not received so. I made 4 complains to the customer care but all in vein.
