Causing mental agony
I have not paid airtel post paid bill worth rupees 2000. All i have asked you is just to send me the call details and then i will pay the bill. This very thing have been ignored by everyone associated with airtel customer care and now suddenly i have a notice from airtel. I wonder why no one is ready to give me the call details.

Airtel live VAS card
This is in reference to your newly launched scheme of offering Free VAS card worth Rs 500 to all your customers which enables them to download free multimedia contents worth the same amount from your Airtel Live VAS Card Zone up to 30th june 2008.

I too received a VAS card no. 6136798 from your side as per your promotion. I logged in the Airtel Live VAS zone on 05/06/08 using the card to download some contents on my mobile phone. I first tried downloading a ringtone but an error message appeared stating “Services: Page Not Found”. I then tried the other ringtone but the same message appeared again. Then I checked my VAS card balance and found the price of the contents I tried to download was deducted from my balance without me receiving any content.

Finally I had to call up Airtel Technical Support helpline, as I was not entertained by the normal customer care executive, I registered my complaint (No. 18994034 dated 05/06/08) and was told to wait for 24Hrs to get my problem solved and get my content on my mobile phone.

I didn’t received any satisfactory response till 09/06/08 from your side, and on the anticipation that all your services would now be working fine I tried downloading another content (Game) from your Airtel live VAS Zone. But the things were the same and so was the ERROR and even my card balance was reduced.

So I was forced to call again to technical support helpline but no results yet. They gave another complaint number (19037181 dated 09/06/08) and asked to wait for 48Hrs. What I inferred from this whole incidence was that there are just web pages on your Airtel Live VAS portal offering content description of content and no multimedia contents to download. This whole scheme of Airtel for making new customers is just to making a fool of it’s present customers.

I am now completely frustrated with such a poor customer support service and the useless promotional scheme. I want you to take the above matter seriously and send a written reply on how my problem will be solved or else I might have to take some strict action.

AirTel customer service is No.1 junk
-First of all, their customer service is a No.1 Junk!!
-I am terribly pissed off by the AirTel Services, especially the Customer Service department!!!
-If the postpaid customer service is Bull-Sh*t, Prepaid customer service is Dog sh*t!!
-I had a AirTel postpaid connection since 4 months and due to their erotic billing and hopeless service I was terribly irritated.
-None of them know any information when I call them on the discrepancies in my billing, including their Managers, rather Damagers!! - - -And the call center executives are terribly mis-leading with their half-baked knowledge. Even If I scream at them, they've been trained
to be buffalo-skinned and get strokes on their buttocks!
-Whenever you start reporting any problems to them seriously, they just disconnect the call because you are not going to talk to the same 'bum' again, right.
-But, anything related to the payment like collection, payment due date, payment follow-up calls works excellent.
Fed up of their non-sense and stupid billing, I switched to Airtel Prepaid. This is another big Gutter!!!
- Switching took 8 days
- Recharging failed repeatedly and it took 2 days to get activated.
- Finally, recharged my prepaid with 498 plan with a talk time of Rs.300
- 2 days after the recharge, all my outgoing calls are barred. My balance them was Rs.297
- It has become my usual practice to call them thrice a day and scream at them to activate my outgoing calls. Most of the time, they disconnect the call.
- Finally, I managed to file 2 complaints and the estimated resolution was 6 days later.
- Luckily, it got activated on the 5th day.
- 6th day was the resolution day - I got an sms that my service complaint has been resolved.
- Just after the SMS, all my outgoing calls were barred again. My balance was Rs.284.60
Looks like, the service guy switched my connection from 'working' state to 'non-working' state. Because, they are buffaloes right - they just reverse the connection!
- Now, my outgoing calls are barred and I've already spoken to 17 buffaloes. Still not resolved.

Cheating
Under my company, I have 5 connections from Airtel. Due to some wrong information provided by the airtel agencies to airtel, Airtel has generated the wrong bills. I paid according to proper amount but 1 of my phone got disconnected by Airtel. Also on my personal number outgoing to customer care barred by them. I have sent many emails to different rank people. Have spoke to customer care many times but no body is bothered. I am feeling cheated with a bunch of people in Airtel.

My Airtel friends group exists, but currently deactivated
I have airtel friends card.My airtel friends group exists but currently deactivated. Activate my group so that I can enjoy 10 p/s calling wit my group members. Also airtel customer care barred my number. Therefore I can't contact even to customer care.

Refund of gprs charges after deactivating
My mobile no. is 9934560848 I have been using airtel GPRS service for last more than 3 years, whenever i send sms to airtel 121 for bad connectivity they replied by sms to wait for 24 hours/48 hours etc). Due to bad connectivity and bad response by airtel people, I have requested airtel (SMS TO121to deactivate my GPRS connection on 16.06.08. They have done it immediately. HOWEVER INSTEAD OF REFUNDING UNUSED AMOUNT for remaining period they have debited my account with Rs.250/- even after deactivating the GPRS (in case of continuation of services it would be debited next month.

Got abused by AIRTEL guys
Took one mobile connection from MR.prabjendra Singh(9831194390) and Miss Mousumi(9831561546) on 25 may but activated on 2nd June.From the 2nd June itself i m not able to do the Outgoing calls and the SMS.When i have complained the same to MR.Singh and Miss Nousumi, they have abused me alot and given me threath.Please solve my problem.My mobile number is 9748760768.

The worst service ever
I live on Palm Neach Rd, Navi Mumbai and the Airtel network is really bad. I have found one room in the house where I get
network. They keep cutting about 10 to 15rs every month for MCA service (missed call alerts). but I don't ever get MCA. I have tried switching my cell off, then calling my number from several different landlines and friends mobiles etc, but I don't get a single MCA. So why am I being charged for it without fail every month. Where does the money go???

Every time I call 121 with any of the numerous issues, the customer care puts me on hold for 2-5 minutes at a time, without
a proper request or informing that I will be on hold... after they come back on line (2-5mins later), they ask me to repeat my problem.

Hello you nincompoops at AIRTEL!!! ARE YOU SLEEPING AT YOUR JOB? Does AIRTEL not have any quality monitoring or TLS or managers who are actually concerned about providing service? It is hard to believe airtel can have such pathetic customer service. It is promoted by celebrities who are people of integrity, or so I'd like to believe. But does money make you promote just about anything that comes your way? And whats with the celebrities like Sachin and ShahRukh (I believe he endorses airtel too) and others who promote the damn service??? Somebody should tell them they are promoting services which are incompetent... maybe they don't know...

CELEBRITIES!!! KINDLY CHECK THE COMPETENCY OF SERVICES/PRODUCTS YOU ENDORSE.

I called Airtel thrice today... I am able to send smses to Dubai numbers but when I try calling it comes invalid/. I called customer service to tell airtel about the problem. thrice... and all three times, the lady (3 different ones on 3 calls) heard my verification, problems, put me on hold for at least 3 minutes each... then came back asked me stupid questions like "since how long have you faced? I got pissed, and asked her why she'd kept me on hold 3 minutes only to come back and ask me such a silly question, then she said line is breaking and disconnected.

I called 2nd time, same thing... 3rd time I lost my patience, (of course all 3 times I had to go through the stupid IVR...) 3rd lady also put me on hold and then came back to ask "how long|" . I asked her what she had been doing while I was on hold, she said she had been checking my "RECORDS". I lost my temper and asked her if she had been looking at my records when I was on hold, she should know how long I have been facing the problem as I had told it to the previous person/... hummed and hawed erred and ohhhed then said that the line was breaking and then promptly disconnected the line.

Thats it, I didn't call again. I feel so angry. Strict action should be taken against these companies... I am so angry, am just typing away and I need to stop assaulting my keyboard...

ARGGGHHH!!!

Can the public sue the company?

my airtel connection
Dear airtel,
I have left my house no. 1274, First floor, sector 17 C, Gorgaon- 1220001, Haryana, I have taken a broadband internet connection with my landline airtel phone n0. being 1244387818. Now i want 2 discontinue my connection as i no longer reside there. So kindly discontinue my internet as well as landline telephone connection with immediate effect.
