Myself Purshotam Lal, Having prepaid sim wants to convert it into postpaid with cug facility. The airtel personnel from jammu (j&k). Mr Zorawar singh (9906084505) has given me new sim instead of my prepaid sim on 03/12/2010 which is not activated till date. My mobile no. 9596739004 and new sim given by airtel personnel is 89915 50809 04761 4284. This above mention airtel personnel is totally ridiculous, irresponsible. I dont have any word in my vocabulary to slap this person.
Not only me, there are many more colleagues of my company LUPIN LIMITED JAMMU, PHARMA PLANT. who are suffering from this problem from last two months.

Plz. do the needful.

first of all, air-tel have substandard customer care executive and they even don't know how 2 great people and how 2 hear their problem, they only just trying 2 disconnect the call as soon as possible, even when customer is paying for this call.
I have informed C.C.E about my customer care service was blocked for 4 months and they gave me first complaint no- 1011280562700 and they ask to wait for 48 hrs. After 3 days level 2 people attended my phone and promise to solve the issue in next 48 hrs. now one week passed still my customer support service is barred.
beside this service provider also disconnect my mobile internet ...there is always setting's error.
now i am totally harassed and exhausted to continue using air-tel services.

we have been unwantedly charged rs 20 and 30 for unwanted messages from airtel .we want you to deactivate this service from the no 9871656517 and kindly return the money.

I am pretty frustrated with the consumer care of Airtel and that is the sole reason that I am writing here. I opted for 1299/- (2MBPS) plan of Airtel Broadband in July 2010 and since then I have been dealing with problems. First they gave me a 899/- plan and sent me huge bills. The mistake was corrected after many calls to their consumer care and I had to go through a lot of tension. Then they started billing me on some DSL charges for which I never opted. First they asked me to submit whatever I felt right and told me that balance will be adjusted. It was around Rs 200/- per month and currently stands at 1000/-. Last month (ie November) I received a hard copy form Airtel saying that the then balance of 800/- will be adjusted in next bill and I was asked to pay rest of the amount.
I did the same hoping that I will receive an adjustment of 800/- in my account. In the same period my services were barred for 11 days (in month of Dec.) as I had not submittted the bill. I had clearly communicated in my mails to [email protected] that my bill is wrong and I cannot pay that. My complaints were registered for which I have proofs.

Now, when I receive bill for month of Dec I find that neither those 800/- have been adjusted nor I have received any adjustment for the period for which my services are barred. It was mistake on their side in billing which prevented me in submitting the bill. On top of that Airtel is still billing me on DSL charges for which they have already provided me a hard copy for the waiver. Currently the extra fraudulent amount in my bill stands at arouund 1600/- (including 800/- DSL + this month's 200/- DSL and charges for 11 days for which services were barred due to their mistake). I have spent hours on phone call with their customer care but in vain. None of the managers are available and each time I have to explain all the details.
Last night my services were again barred and when I called customer care they just give me a blunt reply that nothing can be done. The billed amount is wrong and I cannpt pay that in any circumstance. Airtel is commiting huge fraud and I don't know with how many customers. I am very unhappy with the services and my life and work is getting affected. I request you to help me with this.
