Airtel Billing issues
I was completely shocked when i saw my MARCH postpaid bill. It was around Rs 3900 and that too 3500 from Value added services. I still remember that on month of Jan, Feb and March i had deactivated my GPRS and Airtel live because i knew that there might go some miscalculations on the billing charges. I called all the customer executive and their senior seeking their help and responses. None of them came up with a positive response. Every single executive told me that i have to pay the whole amount. I told them that this was impossible that such high bill would be charged to me and that too on VAS. I cross checked my itemized bill for VAS and found out that there are charges added falsely for almost every dates on the month of March. I remember for some dates when i was busy with my work and never had a chance to go for facebook nor any websites. And why should i go for facebook and other web pages when i have a internet connection at home.
Unfortunately i had to deactivate that number and took another number. later one executive from Retention department named as Lata soni called me up to settle the issue on Rs 2400 instead of Rs 3900. i said i will pay that amount and she said that after paying rs 2400 she will give me a settlement paper. I paid rs 2400 same evening and gave her the receipt number the very next day. To my utter dismay i received a legal notice to pay whole 3900 rs. Now when i am trying to reach her and call her she is not responding neither her colleagues are responding to me about her whereabouts. This made me frustrated like hell. Finally after 2 days i got hold of her. This time she lied to my face and totally disagreed that we settle the amount to Rs 2400 instead we settled on Rs 2900 and after paying more 600 i will get the settlement papers. This harassment made me frustrated even more this time. I just could not find any other way to what to do with Airtel and its fellow employees. I had a mental pressure of my work and this billing issue.
I think this billing issues is common within all airtel customers. I dont know what is wrong with the Airtel and their employee. Their unprofessional behavior will make airtel customers chew their teeth until they are totally chewed.
I would like you to please lodge a complain against Airtel against their billing manipulation attitude and theur unprofessional behavior from Lata Soni.

regarding network
the airtel network around the rt nagar area in bangalore has frequent problems...will anybody please look into it... the area code is 560032... ther is always an problem wit the network coverage...we r not able to make important calls at an emergency situation

WORST SERVICE IN MNP.
I had applied for an Mobile Number Portability(MNP) from TATA DoCoMo to Airtel on 10-6-2011 from AIRTEL store in Marathalli, Bangalore.They assured me that it would done within 7 working days and i need not do any otner procedure.But even after 14 days my MNP was not done and after going personally and asking them they told me to refill the form for MNP, which i did but even after that they started giving stupid reasons.They did not satisfy my needs of MNP and I WOULD SUGGEST YOU'LL TO NEVER EVER GO FOR AIRTEL for MNP.I never expected this from AIRTEL.

Ref: A/c. No. 13644181
A sum of Rs. 938/= collected by your Agent under receipt SBIO CH 000531923 on 9.3.11 has not been credited to our account despite several reminders at your office in Anna Nagar.
This has resulted in overdue appearing in every of our subsequent bills with overdue charges. Enough representations were done . We were told to remit that months due with assurance that effect would be made in the next bill. This has not happened. With irony we mention that our line now has been deactivated.
No action taken even after 10 days after writing to nodal office at St. Thomas mount and Anna nagar office expresses its inability to do any thing in this matter.
This is how airtel want to be a MNC if it can't acknowledge the greivance letter of a customer.

sim disconnected permanently

I am serving in Indian Air Force as a Non Commissioned Officer. On 06 May 11 I purchased a SIM Card of Airtel (9910286045). The number has been activated and recharged with Rs. 50/-. I was out of station for some days and after coming back I come to know that my number is not active. I contacted customer care. They told me various reason of deactivation (You may not got recharged your sim, you may not used your sim for more than 6 months etc.). I contacted the Airtel retailer from which i have purchased the sim. Firstly they told me to resubmitt the document. I have resubmit the document. Still my number cannot be activated. Atlast they told me that Airtel has deactivated my number permanently and given a reason that my verification was negative, however I never received any verification call from Airtel. My grievances may be looked into and redressed.

Customer care not answering
Dear Sir,
I've been trying to contact a customer care executive for the past 4 days. I've called on noth the 121 and 198 number from my airtel landline and am yet to be connected. The automated interface tells me that it is going to forward my call or connect it and after waiting for 1 minute to be connected it becomes blank and I don't get connected to any of your executives even after waiting for 15 minutes after that. I wanted to upgrade my plan from 1mbps 30 gb to 2mbps 75 gb, my number is 05224079032.

deduct money in wrong way
i am user of airtel from long time
3rd july 2011 near 12:45 they deduct money from my balance
when i call at 1:05 they cut the call
again calling they assure me that mistake will from their side but they can't refund money or proceed my complain
but i didn't receive any detail from their side of complain register
where is customer services?
is it the right way for airtel to earn money and increase profit?
I hope you listen pls help us
