I have not been able to stay on line connected to the internet for the past 3 weeks. I have contact Alltel several times, and am told each time that a ticket will be open and if the problem can not be resolved in 10 days, I can cancel my service with no penalties. Each and every time I call to check the status of the ticket, I am told that a new ticket has be opend the previous day and I will have to wait another 190 days. Today was the 5th time I was told that! I have already signed up for Embarq DSL service, because I work from home and need to be connected. I was told today by Alltel that I can't cancel until the ticket is closed and the problem not resolved. (Which hasn't happened as of yet) unless I pay a penalty of $200.00. This is a scam! If anyone can help me resolve this, and get my account cancelled with penalties, please let me know!
