We purchased three new cell phones from the alltel.com website. There was a "promotion" going on where the $25 activation fee per phone would be waived. When we received our first bill, wouldn't you know it, there was the $25 activation fee, applied to each phone, totaling $75. I paid the first bill, being told by Alltel that the $75 would be credited back to my second billing cycle. Second bill arrives, with no $75 credit. Called Alltel again, they said they couldn't approve the removal of the activation fees since I purchased the phones through the lets talk website. It's an ALLTEL website so this makes no sense to me. I have been given the runaround for two months now. Every time I call, I am told to call a different number or someone tells me something completely different than the last person. Now I was given an email address to email a copy of my packing slip that came with the phones, not sure what good this is going to do. I feel like they're just stalling and hoping I'll give up. I don't think I will be getting my $75 back. Crooks! I can't even believe this is legal! They are also extremely rude during our conversations.
