This company (Brad) came out to look at my broken hot water heat (3 years old, purchased and installed by AMY). They told me that the gas valve needed to be replaced and was not under warranty, that only the tank itself was, and that it would be several days to get the valve because it had to be ordered (we were already out of hot water for 3 days). I showed Brad our warranty paperwork and he said that the paper did not go with our current tank! Lie! They wanted $449 to replace the valve. I told them that I could buy a new water heater for that price and they said they would sell me a new one for $1, 184. I said that I could not afford that and that I would have to go to Home Depot and have a friend install it. Brad then said that home Depot's warranty was only 30 days! I knew that he was lying then so I told him to leave. I bought a new tank from Home Depot and paid to have a friend install it. Two days later the valve showed up from Fed Ex (Brad ordered it on accident) and it WAS UNDER WARRANTY. We called Rheem and they said we were scammed! I tried to call the owners John and Jason and they were both rude, condescending, and liars. I have told a lot of people this story and MANY have similiar stories! We could start a Facebook group of issues with this company trying to screw people over!
