While trying to download anything from itunes, connection slows from 3mbps service payed for to below 500kbps. After calling and explaining this happened when downloading from iTunes, I was told to check my cable and try another one etc. This had no effect. I was not informed about internet shaping, I guess it was kinda discovered myself. No point using itunes and Internet with slow connection. I now use a second provider to download from itunes which I don't believe I should have to. but Eircom.net are dishonnest, so no listening to music or creative potcasts etc, you can build the Wifi snooper instead. just type words into search engine. I think Eircom and you should all itune to that.
