I bought a $39 Groupon for a $80. A Taste of San Diego dining and walking tour. I should have been suspicious when the owner would not name the specific restaurants or foods we would get when I called. She just said, Mexican, French, Italian. She said we would walk about 1 mile. The quality and quantity of the food did not reflect the $80 price. The tour owner cut corners and spent less than $20 per person on food and pocketed the rest. Example, the Mexican restaurant was a fast food chain and we each got a $1.99 taco. We had to split a $7.00 dessert between 2 people. We got about 8 tiny bites of cheese, 1 ravioli, 1 scallop. Only one restaurant gave us a good portion of food-The Gathering. To top it off, all of the restaurants were within 2 blocks and there was no discussion of articture or history of the area. Do not buy this as a Groupon or waste $80. on the tour. It is false advertising!
