I ordered a used childrens book for $0.25 in February and did not find out until October that the company had been charging me $9.95 a month for 7 months. That totals $69.65. When I Googled BBV Discount Book nothing but complaints and ripoff reports came up. I called the company and demanded a refund but they would only allow a refund of $19.90 for the past two months. They claim that there was a 7 day trial followed by implied monthly membership if the trial wasnt cancelled in the 7 day period. I have no recollection of reading that in the terms, or seeing any other mention of a trial or other membership. Do not do business with these people unless you are willing to pay for a monthly membership. I havent used this company since the February purchase so I essentially paid $70 for a book worth less than $1.
