BBV/Hot Books is a sneaky scam operation that offers you a "bargain" price on the purchase of one book. If you buy the book, some well buried fine print advises you that you'll automatically be enrolled in their "club." And if you don't see that fine print and cancel your "membership" immediately, you'll be billed $9.95 a month for as long as you live. The monthly fee is small enough to be easily overlooked amid dozens of other minor charges, and so can go unnoticed for several months, usually long enough to make that bargain book cost you lots more than it would have from a more legitimate site.
