I have had many Brother MFC machines. They finally came up with a winner (i.e. Toyota). From the first time I used this unit, paper jam after paper jam, after paper jam and there was never any paper jammed. SO...I guess "You can't fix stupid" and I have the dumb machine.
Only help I can give you as a potential buyer...STAY AWAY from this one. Not a lot of fun to continuously take out the cartridges, check for paper jams, discover that there is nothing there, put back the cartridges, have the machine jam again and start the process over.
After about three tries, I do get my printing done, only to have the jamming process start all over.
