insisting of taking a contract
this is the following i typed to cell c. as i dont need another contracted and they insisted that i should take one and that i will have to pay an amount of R250 for cancelling the contract that i have not signed for as yet and not recieved the phone.

i would like to cancel a contract that i have tried to stop since one of you guys contacted me yesterday for a contract on a samsung c3053 for R99 and i tried to tell him that i cant pay the amount as i am in alot of debt, and he said that i will pay a amount of R250 for something i have not recieved and he kept on insisting that i should take the offer even though i kept on telling him that i can not pay the amount of R99 a month, so if you can please assist in cancelling the contract as i have not recieved the phone as yet, for i dont require it anymore because i am over indebted and i cant even pay my accounts sometimes because, my insurance is taken off twice a month for i cant even afford to pay it on a monthly basis as well, i dont earn enough money i can only take another contract out when i am in a stable position and job as i am a learner at DHL for only 8 months and i wont be able to afford the payments after my learnership is terminated. so if you can please cancel the contract that will be highly appreciated as i dont need it any more as of today. you may deduct the amount of R250 if need be but not on a monthly basis because, you are very slimy people who will insist of taking a contract which no one or some people cant afford even the tiniest amount payable a month.

if i recieve the phone i will personally tell the courier to take it back to you guys and give them this email that i dont require the contract.

unfairly treated
cell c claimed i roamed overseas with my phone to the ammount of R14 000, 00 my phone was never opened for international calls by me and on my billing the amount dont give any layout where the claimed calls are made to but the amount shows at current. I was barred to use my phone and up to date i am doing follow up cell c treats me as if i did thos aledged calls

no phone
I DID AN UPGRADE WITH CELL C ON THE 01/02/2010 AND WAS PROMISED MY PHONE ON THE 08/02/2010.I THEN CALLED ON THE 04/02/2010 TO FIND OUT IF EVRYTHING WAS OK AND ONLY THEN DID A CONSULTANT NOTIFY ME THAT THE PHONE I HAD REQUESTED WAS OUT OF STOCK.(NOTE FOUR DAYS LATER ONLY AFTER I CALLED THEM).I THEN SELECTED ANOTHER PHONE (NOKIA 5800) AND WAS PROMISED IT ON THE 08/02/2010.WHEN I CALLED TODAY THEY NOW SAY THAT THEY ARE UNSURE AS TO WHEN I WILL RECEIVE MY PHONE .PLEASE HELP ME IN GETTING MY PHONE.

APPALING SERVICE
I received horrible treatment from the cell c call centre. Did an upgrade on my contract through the call centre. They would courier the phone to me within 3 days. 7 days later the phone was eventually send to the courier company. BUT THEY GAVE A WRONG ADDRESS!!! so which means the couries could not deliver the phone and was send back into the enquire section. WHEN WILL THE SERVICE EVER IMPROVE. After several complaints to Cell C they simply ignore me. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER RELATIONS SKILL AND I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE THEM.

Non delivery
I have been contacted by phone about a promotion. A cell phone was delivered to me. I do not want it and started phoning them to collect the thing as their contract said they would do at a charge of R250. That was 17 October 2009 now is the 17th of December 2009 and one debit order later that they have not responded even though I contact them weekly. A call center supervisor promised that it would be collected last week monday. It has not been done. Phoning now I was told to please hold the line and noone comes back to me. Who will cover the cost of these phone calls?

network service
IT IS PATHETIC THAT MY SISTER, ALSO USING CELLC HAS NO PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER WITH HER SERVICE BUT ME SITTING NEXT TO HER HAS A HUGE PROBLEM.MY PHONE IS DEAD I CANT TO ANYTHING ON IT AND MY SISTER GETS CALLS AND EVERTHING.SO CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT ALOT REALLY.IT IS REALLY IRRETATING CAUSE I HAVE TO PAY EVERY MONTH BUT NOTHING ON THIS SERVICE WORKS AND IF YOU WALK INTO A CELLC SHOP THE PEOPLE ARE SO DAMN RUDE THEY LET YOU FEEL AS IF YOU'RE AN IDIOT AND I AM ACTUALLY THE ONE PAYING THEIR SALARY. I AM ACTUALLY SITTING NOT MORE THAN 600 METERS FROM A NETWOEK SERVER AND I DONT EVEN HAVE ONE BAR OF SIGNAL AND MY SISTER ALSO USING CELLC SITTING NEXT TO ME HAS FULL SIGNAL, HOW DOES THAT WORK?????

Bad network
i cannot believe how bad the network is with the cell c group. One will think that cell c is a good network seeing that vodacom is their support but i guess its the worst network one could be on. I just contacted the customer service dept of cell see and they advised that the will be almost no newtwok coverage till january next year, how darn inconvenient is that. you guys better do something and fast because no way am i going to keep up with this

INCORRECT INFORMATION ON CREDIT REPORT
THE INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY CELL C ON MY CREDIT REPORT IS INCORRECT. I HAVE DISPUTED THIS INFORMATION AND IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF FROM TRANSUNION CREDIT BUREAU. EXPERIAN REF:108301221947 XDS REF: 1221947

Monthly problems
I have been using Cell C for many years now and have now moved over to a contract with them. Much to my disappointment. Every month i have to phone in and speak to their un-trained call centre staff to have my lines activated again. (and this happens after they have confirmed that they have received payment) Then after 2 weeks of usage they cut my lines again. I have the proof of my payments that as gone off by debit order and then they want to tell me that i have not paid. The call centre staff never know what they are doing and forced me to ask to speak to a supervisor, which also could'nt help. The one week their system display that they have received payment and next week it is compleatly the opposite story. I AM HIGHLY DISGUSTED IN THE POOR SERVICE AND ARE CONSIDERING TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.
