Insurance claim
I am strugling since the 27/05/09 to sort out my insurance claim with cell c insurance. I phone them every second day to get an answer. But they only keep on sending me sms's to say they are bussy sorting out my problem. I would like to know, how long can this take. I as the customer have to phone them give them ref nr's but everytime for nothing. Why do you as customer pay for insurance? I am borrowing a phone from someone, and would like my claim to be settled. I have had numerous problems with cell c and i will never do an upgrade with them again, i have three contracts and pay allot of money every month, i can not believe it can take this long.

Its your problem we dont care
I am at wits end with the Cell C service provider company. I run my business from my mobile phone. It got stolen, and before I can open a case at the SAPA I need to get a reference number from my service provider. I have been in constant contact with cell C via email, and phone calls to resolve this (140 number), But they say they cant give me a number due to Technical problems on their side.
It is close to 24 hour now already and cell c still could not help me, My insurance company will not replace my phone if I did not create a case at the SAPA within 24 hours. The last time I phoned Cell C, They told me to report it to my closest Cell c shop, as they might be able to help, this was at 5:43 pm. When I requested the lady to inform me about my closest outlet, she told me that there are no outlets close to me or in my city. What do I need to do to get this sorted out. My business will suffer and I will loose all my income due to the fact that my clients cant phone me. I will also not be able to get a phone from my insurance company and this will mean further loss from my side. We have also invested a significant amount of money in advertising this number. Having to advertise a new number is simply not an option.
I have requested reference numbers of the recordings when I spoke to cell C but the tell me they are having another system problem and they cannot provider me any details or proof of the call or complaint. These system problems are a common thing at cell c, and I am not sure if they are even trying to resolve this. http://www.cellcsucks.com/ also complains about this, but nothing have been done.
If you visit www.hellopeter.com you will also find that there are an enormous amount of consumers that are having similar problems with the service provider. How does one that is a consumer fight back against a corporate that clearly do not want or know how to resolve their problems, and are causing damage to others and South-Africa as a country? 2010 is coming, can you image the impression visitors will have of our country if a Telecommunications service provider can even resolve the simplest of issues?

PORTING
I PORTED FROM MTN TO CELL C A WEEK AGO AND MY NUMBER FROM MTN IS DESTROYED, PORTING DOES NOT WENT WELL. NO NETWORK SIGNAL ON MY PHONE. "SIM CARD REGISTRATIONFAILURE " THIS MASSEGE APPEAR ON MY PHONE EVERY TIME I SWITCH ON . PORTING DEPARTMENT SENT ME THE REFERENCE NUMBER 835758 WHICH I DO NOT KNOW WHAT MUST I DO ABOUT IT.

handset
i was offered a contract cllphone by cell c which happened over the line and everything was done, the phone was delivered but i was not at home and i asked my roommate to sign for it on my behalf in which cell c agreed.I told him to open it and see if it's working and he did but when i got home and seeing the phone i did not like but now theybwon't allow me to take it back, i've never used the phone and the sim card is still sealed.
The biggest problem is that i called them a number of times and they promised to come back to me with an answer but they haven't and it's been a month already, when i call them now i stay on the line for half an hour without anybody taking my call.
I don't want to cancel the contract, i just want to change it and get the handset i'm going to be happy with.

bad service
Dear cell c
i have a contract phone with cell c and had a problem with the debit order payment on 31/03/09 and then by 31/04/09 i payed for 2 months and i have been on the phone with cell c from 04/05/09 and have fax the bank statement to them. I have not heard from the AGENT again as she promise to phone back. I have phoned back about 10 times already but no luck.
CELL C YOU ARE A BAD SERVICE PROVIDER AND YOUR AGENTS ARE NO HELP

bad service
i went to cell c westgate branch on the 5 of may to take out a control chat contract the lady helping seemed friendly enough did all the paper work then said that she would call me re approval, she called a hour later to say the system offline and that she would call the following morning to confirm, at about 12 the following day i called and she said she was busy processing the forms and would call me back i then called the head office who told me that she would have received the answer within in 10 min, i called the lady and informed her she then was very very rude and said i did not no the way it worked, and that she would get back to me, she called me on the 7 with a attitude and told me it was approved and that i could come choose a phone, i had already choosen the one i wanted the day i was in the shop so went over to key west branch and asked if they had stock of the one i requested and was told they did not, i then called her back and asked her if she still had my phone, to which she replied that the one she had given me was the last one in the shop and out of the box so she could not give it, i asked her why she had not told me and she said told you what, she was terrible everytime i tried to get a word in she gave me attitude, when i told her i was going to take it further she told me to do just that, the worst is when i did try take it further its like cell c just does not give a damn how the customers are handled dealing with people all day i have been taught the customer is alway right clearly not...either someone from cell c can contact me and allow another branch to handle the contact or i will go to voda or mtn this is terrible and really someone should look into cell c customer care even the west rand branch manager failed to call me back anyone reading this think twice before using this branch of cell c.

Terrible company
Well i had a cellc account the account ended up being handed over to the lawyers because payment wasn't made on my side, thus cellc missed a payment of mine which made the handover to lawyer incorrect the value of this was R500.00. i have paperwork for each reference.
Now i am on a system called ITC, thus i cnt get loans i have a bad credit debt. Which is incorrect. I have paid the lawyers in total of R1.700 her name-SIPHIWE DLAMINI.
I have been waiting for 3 months now for me to be removed from the ITc system, i cant get through to cellc legal department.

No response , No feedback
Since November last year I have been attempting to resolve my contract with Cell C telephonically, for the Month i tried another website to get a response, and true to themselves since April 02-2009 Cell C has not made any attempt in resolving this matter with me.
I am now in arrears, and on a response from the website, I have been handed over to attorneys, but to date no Cell C personell has contacted me.
It makes me now see the reason why they made the news last year for going BANKRUPt.
I dont think that I should pay any of the monies outstanding, which has now accumalated some legal fees.
Cell C needs to get a system that works, and teach all personnel to follow through and give customers feedback on the progresss/status of accounts, queries.
I am in the process of getting Legal Help, due to my strong convictions that should I not have been the one doing the queries with Cell C, they would not even have come so far to hand my account over to the Attorneys.

depit orders and cutting lines
I took out a contract at the Cell C company and sighned for a depit order to go off every month to make my life a bit easier. Getting to a bank during the day is a nightmare for me, but instead of it being better it now has become a nusiance. Cell C cut my cellphone line in February after I missed a payment due to the fact that they took off the depit order before the date I sighned for and my salary was not in yet. End of March they took both the payment of February and March with the depit order out of my accout, but still 2 days later my line was not swithed back on. I phoned them, told them what happened and the guy I spoke to then said he see the payment was done, so my line will be on within 15min. after speaking to him. Now, 20 days later they again switch off my phone without warning and when I phoned them after trying for 3 hours to get through to their client service, the guy tell me there is no sighn of payment and that is why they cut my line. They can not switch my line on before I bring a bank statement as prove of statement. They just do not care what I had to say. I phoned the bank and they confirmed that the payment was done, but now I still have to rush to the bank tomorrow to get the stupid statement and take it to cell c. I drive with my 7month old baby girl on the Johannesburg roads for 2 hour trips daily. How irresponsible is it for me to not have a phone I can phone from in case of emergency. What realy infuriates me is that when I show the stupid statement, all they will say is sorry, switch my line back on and I would just have to be okay with it to just have been a mistake. What garanty do I have it will not keep on happening. This is already the second time. How many times must I still go through the inconvenience of it all.
