I was locked out of my house today and called to have a service tech come bail me out. I had informed them that my cell phone, keys and personal effects were locked in the house, and I had my three year old with me. After telling them I was at my neighbor's and needed to be contacted on their land line, they told me that wouldn't be a problem. They asked me for my cell number which I gave them, and I reminded them they needed to contact me at my neighbors. They said it should be 10 to 15 minutes. After 2 hours I had to call them again. They told me the tech had called me but I never answered. I told them I never received an incoming call and found out that even after reminding them to call me at my neighbors they had called me on my cell phone which was STILL locked in my house. After getting this straightened out, I asked again how long it would take, and they told me they would have their tech call me. The tech finally called and told me it would take another hour. After being locked out for over 3 hours with my 3 year old, I was not about to wait another hour. I informed them (honestly) that my mother in law would be home by then so that would be pointless. After cancelling with the tech, I got a call again asking me why I cancelled. Seriously? Can you people NOT communicate within your own company? If you cant keep your information straight internally, why are you going to pester me further? Their complete ineptitude caused me and my child stress and discomfort and further caused a something that should have been simple and quick to take over four hours. This is not acceptable from any business, especially one that tells you 10-15 minutes. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy...
