Unfair
The complaints board website is a joke. They let people post anonymously without even a real name. This obviously makes it so any competitor of any company can post negative comments that appear to be legitimate when they are not. There is no responsibility or even a touch of effort to verify that any claim made here is true or false. This site will begin to be attacked by honest hard working companies that refuse to be slander by nameless, faceless people hiding behind their computers. COMPLAINTSBOARD.COM IS A SCAM! Don't waste your time with anything said on this site, form your own opinion by asking someone with some credibility and actual knowledge of a company you are thinking of using. Unfair practices like this only cause honest companies to spend more money defending unfounded lies. DON'T USE COMPLAINTS BOARD. You might as well as a 4 year old, you'll get better informed information.

Complaints Board doesn't verify any complaint being listed on their board. This is the worst that could happen since some complaint might not be legitimate yet still get published.
All complaints must be checked for legitimacy and not just published right away.

Lack of oversight in preventing libel
I take issue with the fact that the Complaints Board has provided an avenue for blatant libel while attempting to provide a service to assist people in making wise decisions. With this and other similar on-line resources used to vent negative experiences, care should be taken to ensure comments are made to help individuals make wise decisions not to make libelous comments with the explicit purpose of defaming people. What I think happens more often, as I read through many of the postings, is that individuals use this site to complain about life experiences where they feel like were shorted. My complaint is that the ComplaintsBoard should take the time to review and approve only those comments, which are helpful in providing accurate information for decision-making. Since that is clearly not the case. I felt obliged to post my own take on the lack of integrity that this website shows.

We are writing to demand that Complaints Board remove the libelous and scurrilous posting by Michelle Ramos, to the effect that"...The American TESOL Institute is a scam organisation claiming to be an American Based company when in actual fact it is run by an Indian company in Kolkata, India who also sometimes operate from Thailand ...". The allegations are completely baseless and false.
We demand that Complaints Board remove this posting from your website by close of business today, 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time. Please confirm that you have done so by email to me at the address posted above.
If you fail to do so, we will pursue legal recourse against you that is available to us.
