We took our 1-1/2 yr old Toshiba laptop to Comprite because it quit connecting to internet and we saw their advertisements for inexpensive flat rate computer repair. We figured it was a router problem, but they insisted it needed a whole new hard drive due to viruses, and we should also install their Trend security system, plus blah blah blah to the tune of $310.00.

But when we picked it up, the desktop was totally different, with some of their programs installed - and ours were gone! I have always used MS Word which was installed on the computer when we bought it and many other programs - and they were all gone. They then told us we would have to pay them another $149.00 to get MS Word back - which was on it before they "fixed" it!!! And when we got it home today the router was still not working and I had to call Frontier and THEY worked me through it on the phone for free.

I am so angry right now I want to take them to court! What liars! They made no mention "oh by the way, the programs you have on it now will all be gone when you pick it up, " and it will cost you more to put them back! DO NOT GO TO COMPRITE! THEY ARE NOT TRUTHFUL AND YOU'LL END UP PAYING A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN YOU EXPECT. So we will end up paying them $459.00 to get our laptop to abnormal!!!
