HORRIBLE COMPANY
I went in to the Pine Bluff Cricket store here in Arkansas. I asked if my home address would be covered with their internet service. They assured it would be. I got the device home and it wouldn't let me use it stating that it could not be activated. I called 1-800-CRICKET and they informed me that I would have to take it back to the store to re-program the device for Windows 7. The next day I took it back to them and they reprogrammed it. I came on that night and it still did not work so I once again called 1-800-CRICKET. They told me that if there were no blue signals on the modem, that I did not get coverage. They then zoomed in on my address and said that there was not coverage in my area. I took the modem back the next day so as of right now this is my 3rd visit to the store and like my 7th call to 1-800-CRICKET. They gave me back the money for the modem but would not refund my money for the activation fee. It was never activated. They stated that if the modem was not brought back the day it was purchased they could not refund the activation fee. I stated that I thought it was "bullshit" and i was asked to leave the store. I left and called 1-800-CRICKET again and they told me to go back to the store, use their cricket phone there to call customer service where they could talk to the store manager. That I had the right to get my moeny back because they told me I would have coverage and I didn't. When i went back to the store, they told me someone was on their phone adn it was 10 minutes to closing and told me that there was no point in contacting anyone because what the store manager saids, gos. I was so freaking mad. i think that the store in pine Bluff staffs RUDE people that don't care. I didn't see not one of them smile in the 3 visits I went to. I HATE CRICKET. My mom went and got the service 2 days after I did and now she is having the same problem. I feel like cricket is getting away with screwing people.

I ORDER 2 MESSAGER II PURPLE PHONES I GOT 1 PURPLE AND 1 SILVER WHEN I CALL THEM THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE SO WHEN I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY TOLD ME I NEEDE TO GO TO A COORPORATE OFFICE SO I DROVE FOR 1 1/2 HOUR AND THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER A BIG DISCUTION THEY CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TOLD ME I NEED TO RETURN MY PHONE AND BUY ANOTHER ONE WELL THEIR NOT THE SAME PRICE ANY MORE AND THEY SAID THIER SORRY BUT THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO.SO I TOLD THEM I GOT THIS PHONE BY MISTAKE I DIDN'T ORDER THIS THEY SAID WELL ONCE THE ORDER IS DONE THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE SO I TOLD THEM I WANT TO CANCEL MY SERVICE IF THEY COULDN'T REPLACE MY PHONE FROM THE ONE THAT I REALY WANTED AND THEY SAID OK CANCEL THE SERVICE BUT THEY WILL NOT SEND THE CORRECT PHONE. CRICKET'S CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME THEY REATHER LOOSE CLIENTS THAN ACCEPT THEY DID WRONG.THEIR DEALS ARE NOT TRUE IT'S A BIG RIPOFF .BEWARE CRICKET IT'S A BIG SCAM AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AT ALL. IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE.I WLL NEVER RECOMEND CRICKET TO ANYBODY AT ALL ABSOLUTE ANYBODY CRICKET SUCKS.

Win for me, fail for cricket
Some of you may feel a little relief in this, I originally signed up for what seemed like a great deal, wireless internet and phone service for a package deal, which worked out to be roughly 45 bucks each to the tune of 90 plus tax. I was told at the store that because I was buying the two services together, this was all I'd be paying. Roughly about 2 months into it, my bill goes from 90 to 130. When I call to drop the internet, I'm informed that I must either buy the whole package again or nothing, not the same thing I was told at the store. At the store at time of purchase I was informed that if I wanted to drop the internet or phone, I could with no penalty at anytime. Of course, the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I was stuck... I just bought the phone and wireless modem and to turn around go with another company would have been ridiculous, so reluctantly I bought another month.

About a month later Cricket began running a promo that was 30 bucks for each service. I was pissed!!!
Luckily, a friend who had tired of Cricket's BS was dropping her service and going with another company and offered me her Cricket phone to which I dropped my $130.00 package, and took my other free phone in for the 30.00 phone service and then two weeks later went back for a 35.00 unlimited wireless internet service with my already purchased modem in hand... This might seem like a small victory but it's a victory nonetheless...
I now pay 65.00 for the same thing I was paying 130.00 for.. I'll ride this for as long as I can or until something better comes along...

I really think if is someone out there who care, to perform an investigation over this company ( money laundry) they really dont have a clue of running this kind of bussiness. thank you.

here I go: first I made my first payment on line, got confirmation number then I have on mail a $1.25 bill that I cancel from a begining I do not buy stamps or mail payments why I have to pay this ridiculous fee. from 45.95 per internet service per month I got $130.50 bill ???? late payment and they not even can explaint to me the other charges?? they say never get the pay last month.I got a copy of my bank transactions and show to those idiots. they clear all that but then I got this letter about the $50.00 rebate .today I whent to te store to make my payment.thinking that would be better than made via internet, and there was a $3.00 fee for paying thru them $1.00 extra if you use debit or $2.00 more if you pay with credit card w.t.fk. I really wish that this company survive thru the next year, we really are tired of people like them filing banckrupcy to cover the stupidity of themselves. happy holidays everyone.

POOR service
Absolutely the most disorganized cellular service out there offering the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It has now taken me THREE visits to the dealer from which I received the phone, and then THEY send me to a "corporate" store- which I have had to visit TWICE to correct a billing error THEY made. Don't EVEN try handling it on the phone- I gave up after 4 attempts of trying to reach anyone that could remedy THEIR mistake. My payment WAS made prior to due date via website. However, Cricket "lost" the payment. Proof of payment provided via copy of bank statement to both dealer and corporate stores with each visit- that means they received proof on FIVE separate occasions. Today, I gave up the absurdity and have told the sales rep to close the account immediately. WHAT a hassle trying to deal with this wannabe cellular "service". AVOID these knuckleheads!!

Cricket Wireless is the worst cell phone company in the world. Their customer service sucks and they are very rude!! I wish the call center was in the United States so I could kick the ass of the broken english speaking representative I was speaking with.

Payment at service center not credited for 24 hours
I set up my Cricket phone account and paid extra for pa paper bill that never came. My phone was disconnected, but I paid my bill at a service center and was issued a receipt that stated my phone service would resume in 30 minutes. However, service was not returned in 30 minutes and the automated customer service system will not resume service unless I make another payment over the phone or on line. No live customer service person is available to handle any service problems - unless I make a duplicate. Also, payments made at service centers take an additional 24 hours to post even though it says it will take 30 minutes on the receipt.

Payments
They have the most stupid policy I have ever encountered when it comes to paying your bill. They charge you something like $3.00 if you walk into the store to pay your bill. I have never heard of a company that charges customers a fee for paying their bill on time. I asked the clerk at the local Cricket store here why I had to pay #3.00 just to pay my bill "ON TIME", she stated that -- that was their policy, so I was smart enough to complain about this procedure and she told me that I could pay online with a debit or credit card and there would be no charge. Now how silly is this: A customer walks in to the store and wants to pay their bill in cash, on time and they want to charge you $3.00 for that. Not a way to keep good customers. I opted for paying on the computer.<br /><br />

Another story this cell phone was purchased for my teenage son who held service with them for 2 years. He had to replace his phone once, but the phone cost $225.00, quite expensive if you asked me when other cell phone providers are offering them free to people everyday just to take out service with them.<br /><br />

Last their customer service leaves a lot to be desired in some areas, too.

false advertisement
Cricket has "False Advertisements". I purchased a $70.00 phone on a $35.00 plan and every month my bill goes up. I look at their commercials and they say that you pay a "Flat Rate" of what ever plan you purchase, but that is not true and I called the customer service and I was told that you only suppose to pay 1 flat rate. If you go into the stores than the same information does not apply to the advertisements. Cricket are ripping people off all over the Nation. They need to tell people that there are Hidden charges and stop lying to the customers. Those stores need to follow the same policy as the Advertisements. "Cricket Stop Ripping Off the Customers with your lies."
