I ordered a baby shower cake using a design I brought in. The design was drastically off and noticably off to the guest as well. There was an inch of frosting (I measured) an d 3/4 inch fudge filling. This is way over the top in my opinion. No one ate the cake. I spent $85 for a cake that was literally thrown in the garbage. The customer service and owner were unapologetic and no resolution was ever offered. I was merely told they thought the cake was fine and I could have brought the cake back for a full refund. How am I supposed to do that when the party was the next day? I have purchased many cakes from them over the years but this was my last cake from Deerfields Bakery.
