Since the Installation of my "SMART METER" in January, My utility bill has went through the roof. Sometimes double, sometimes triple. This month was 5 times more than last year. The only thing different between this year & last is we have ALL ENERGY EFFICIENT BULBs now & we Installed a ENERGY EFFICIENT NEW ROOF. Both things should cause the electric to go down...It was 5 times more than last year after the roof & bulbs were installed. We keep the house closed up and the shades drawn. We have cut back on energy useage. I BELIEVE THE METER IS FAULTY!!! What other reason could there be. I called the company and they said it is not possible for the meter to be faulty...WHat world do they live in? From the moment it was installed I could tell there was something wrong.
