I was one of the fortunate ones - my system worked fine for the most part, but tech support for the most part, was non-existent (never returned calls, rude customer service rep, etc). There was an exception or two, but for the most part, tech support was NON-existent. I've still got the same system 4 years later, but the only thing original in it still is the motherboard and CPU (Cyrix P166). Everything else has been upgraded/replaced. And as someone els mentioned, the 3-year warranty was worthless, especially since they closed their doors and left town a few years ago. One thing we'll all agree upon - DirectWave won't be missed. If anyone has to share the blame, it's Computer Shopper Magazine & ZDNet, who always hyped up DirectWave, and gave them raving revues in their magazines and website. I think you guys (ZDNet/Computer Shopper) outta do some more research before giving glowing reviews to crooks who slap together beefed-up machines. Were you guys accepting payoffs, perhaps?
