I initially thought I was getting a good deal for $204.00 to clean my carpets. However, Discovery Bay Carpet Cleaning damaged an area of my carpet and promised to reimburse me $75 in repairs that were needed. After making repeated requests for reimbursement during the past year, I still have not received reimbursement.

I had never had my carpets cleaned before, because my carpets were pretreated when I built my home. Tony Hemenes, the owner of Discovery Bay Carpet Cleaning, was very rude and accused me of having the stain on the carpet beforehand. I told him that if the stain was there beforehand, then I would have mentioned it like I pointed out all of the other preexisting carpet stains. Whenever I asked him about the status of my reimbursement, he accused me of being "hard up" for money. I have never been insulted by a service company before and hope that I never encounter another person like that again.
