I sent flowers to my wife for Mothers Day from e-florist-inc.com. The price of the flowers, with the shipping charges, was $83.13. The web site says that all prices were in US dollars. When I got the bill for the flowers, I noticed that my credit card was charged $99.02 plus $1.98 for a foreign currency transaction. Nowhere on the site did they say that I would be billed a different price in Canadian dollars and that the net amount I would be charged was a different amount. They claim that they will give me "partial refund" that will show up in a few days, but this is a real scam!

The flowers were pretty crappy too. I don't know what local florist was willing to put their name on the flowers that showed up, but they would have cost $20 at grocery store.
