I ordered a Western Digital hard drive from e-tech on 11/06/09 that was advertised as new. I was sent the wrong drive. I returned that hard drive as was supposed to be sent the correct drive. I was sent a broken drive. When I called to complain about this drive, I was told first that I would have to speak with the tech assigned to my case. After over a week of my calling them and being promised a call back to rectify this problem I finally got to speak with someone. I had to call them of course.When I asked to speak with Bruce...I name I found via interned searches about problems with this company. He had answered to many complaints from other people who had also been burned in similar ways. I spoke to someone other than Bruce from this company who was obnoxious and discourteous, and kept refusing to answer my questions about this situation, but instead kept telling me that the phone conversations were being recorded. When I again pressed him for an answer he told me to take whatever legal action that I wanted, and hung up the phone. This type of un-businesslike action is inexcusable, but is apparently common place for these thieves. After several searches of this company's name, I found numerous similar complaints of this nature. These people are THIEVES...plain and simple and must be made accountable for their actions.
