My mother in law Linda Engle, purchased a Emachines computer from our Local Circuit City Store. She purchased the computer on June the 6th 2008. Since the purchase of the computer it has not worked. Linda has mailed it back to emachines 3 times now and followed instructions given on the telephone from Technical Help. They refuse to call her back when she calls and they refuse to replace the computer. The corporate office has also been called and we explained that it has been returned to the factory 3 times now and still does not work. Still they just say she will have to go through their technical help, and they refuse to make the computer good. Linda is on a fixed income, social security and does not have a lot of money to fight this situation. All she wanted was a computer so she could get on the internet. It took her a long time to save the money to purchase it, and has never been able to use it. Any help or ideas will be appreciated.
