Eurotrans Shipping LLC - Abu Dhabi undertakes door to door delivery services.
I sent a box [40kg] of clothes and other consumables to my aging mother in Bangalore, India on the 29th of November 2009. The company failed to dispatch it within the promised 2 weeks owing to some cargo clearance problems at Dubai Cargo Offices. It took a hundred followup calls to see that it finally reached my mother on 3 Feb 2010. The box was apparently slit open on one side and many items removed and repacked giving it an unopened look. My mother accpted the package assuming it was how I had packed it only to realise on opening the outer opaque plastic wrap that the box was tampered with. Eurotrans denies any involvement and even scoffed there can be no action taken against them. Can any one help please?
