I personally the F.T.C is a BIGGER rip off than DELL..I contacted the FTC. two yrs ago complaining the DELL was sending people REBUILT computers instead of new ones. Also that DELL wasnt honoring their so called IN HOME WARRATY.. Dell sent me a REBUILT computer instaed of a new one. It even had the mans name in the computer in one of those sites i went to. after i fought with dells so called IDIOT supervisor, i was sent a new computer. When that computer broke, i ordered another New one. I was sent someons OLD BROKEN COMPUTER that wouldnt even turn on. After i got a new one, i had trouble with it. Their techs were too STUPID to fix it and made it worse that it was, , they even ERASED EVERYTHING off the computer. I told them i wanted soemone to come to the house. They would not sent anyone even though i bought the in home warranty. I had to pay people in my area to fix my computer. A nurse in the dr. office said she bought a NEW computer from dell and got a REBUILT one. I filed charges on dell for FRAUD and not honoring their warrantied after you pay for it... Thats the LAST i heard from the FTC.. Matter of fact i filled out the paper work two times, , So to this day, dell is ripping people off, no thanks to the FTC./. so in MY opinion the FTC is BIGGER JOKE than DELL.
