6 month ago, after I asked my insurance if the provider - optical boudique/gallery of eye ware, was listed with them and they said yes, I ordered a pair of computer - glasses. The store manager, Kathi Woods, told me I had to pay the full amount of $ 500.- in cash at the time of the order.When I told her that I had full insurance coverage she said that I needed to contact my insurance and they would pay me back.
When I called my insurance they told me that this was all completely wrong and that the provider should not have asked me to pay the full amount but only me $ 20.-copay.
My insurance has been calling them and telling them to give me my money back and I have called them as well, very two weeks for the last 51/2 month.They once tried to give me a partial check but I refused, telling them that they acted wrong by taking my money for the whole amouint and that I would not go away with only a aprtial payment.I just called my insurance again this morning, and they told me they would call the provider again.
My advise to any of you: do not go to Gallery of Eye Ware, Everett, WA.They are NOT customer friendly-- one bit, maybe even worse.
