I got my vacuumn in Nov. of 2009, even when I got it I didn't really see anything special about it like the commercial advertised but I decided to give it a try. It worked just like a regular vacuumn until one day it started making a loud noise. I checked to make sure that the belt wasn't popped and it wasn't I changed the bag and it still continued to make that noise. When I unplugged the vacuumn it was smoking and it smelled like something was burning. It continued to smoke even though it was not plugged up. When I contacted customer service instead of offering any suggestions to how to fix the problem I was offered another vacuumn but I would have to pay $50 for them to send it and pay the shipping to send the old one back. I told the representative that I didn't feel as if I should have to pay for it because it obviously was a problem from manufacturing because it was smoking and not even plugged up. He kept insisting that I was receiving the vacuumn for free it was just the shipping that I was paying for. I asked to speak with a supervisor I stayed on hold for over 30 minutes. When the supervisor got on the phone he kicked the same story. I told him that I felt like I was part of a scam, and how was I to know that the new vacuumn would not do the same thing months down the line and I have to replace it again. He continue to talk about how many garry vacuumn they've sold and that it wouldn't happen again. My gut still told me that this was a scam so I told him that I did not want a replacement I would just trash this one and by me a vacuumn from Walmart.. DO NOT BUY GARRY VACUUMN IT IS A RIP OFF!!!
