Have bought ice cream cakes from Gelatitalia before. Last week I bought my birthday cake -looked great. On my birthday, when I cut the cake, I noticed that the ice cream was very icy, not creamy and the spongecake was old. In fact, the cake was so old, no-one could eat it. It must have been in their freezer for months. I returned the cake yesterday and got the WORST customer service EVER . The manager refused to come out of his office to speak to me. He sent the 'cake maker' instead who was the RUDEST person I have ever met. He did not greet me, stood pulling the cake apart and was AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE. They refused to believe me even after I suggested they try some of the cake. I was prepared to take another cake but after the attitude, I decided to get a refund. The cake maker goes back to the manager. I wait for 10 minutes, the manager still does not come. Finally, I lose my temper and then I get my refund quickly. The manager still refuses to come and see me. I tell cake maker that his customer service stinks - he just looks at me. No apology for the sh** cake. Plus the place is filthy!!! and unhygienic. Don't support these people - they have no idea of customer service.
